Studio Hardie (then William Hardie Design) approached me during a time of change and growth for this band of mad scientist master craftsmen. As the business went from an individual to a group of individuals, a shared experience, the name and brand needed to be rethought to reflect the new studio that was emerging.
William and Hamish were very heavily involved and engaged in the creative process. After much thought and experimentation we developed a design system which bleeds from the completely bespoke typography of the logo into all of their communications.
I enlisted Craig Coles to bring some real digital excellence to the website build.
